Here there was no clear problem formulation from the beginning of the project. The course was about creativity in product development and lasted for a study period. The main area was about climate impact and how Blekinge / Sweden is affected by various problems today.

The process we worked on was the MACROS process. The beginning of the process was about mapping the problem. After the survey, needfinding of the problem began, which was done through interviews, benchmarking, tests and online research. Then ideas were generated during several different types of idea-generating workshops. The ideas were then selected with the help of six thinking hats. The next step in the process was to optimize the idea and test it on potential customers today.

The area we chose to look deeper at was forest fires, focused on disposable grills.
