Ongoing project

This is a project that is ongoing at the time of writing. It is in connection with the Health & Sports department at BTH looking at what new areas a smartwatch might have today. The course is called advanced product and service innovation.

Work so far

Needfinding and idea generation

So far in the project, the focus has been a lot on needfinding and exploring possible ideas. The work is carried out through a design thinking process where tools such as personas, empathy canvas and other tools are used.

And

One area that is being reviewed today is to introduce UV sensor and air quality sensors to a watch. We test this by, among other things, interviews with potential customers.

Today's prototype

Today's prototype consists of an arduino nano together with a UV sensor, air quality sensor and an alcohol meter.
